Giving Back to the Twin Cities Community
Almost a decade ago, Custom Remodelers witnessed a noteworthy transformation in its mission and purpose, all thanks to one of its employees, Todd Beggs. Todd was more than just a dedicated worker and manager; he was an insightful man who believed in the power of community and the potential for positive change. Before his untimely passing, Todd had initiated a food drive program within Custom Remodelers, envisioning a way to harness the collective strength of the company's employees and thousands of customers to address the pressing issue of hunger in the community.
Under Todd's leadership, the food drive began taking shape. He had the foresight to create a drop-off location right in the heart of the company's office lobby, making it exceptionally convenient for both employees and customers to contribute to the cause. Todd's dedication to this initiative was unwavering, and he saw it as more than just a charitable effort; it was a way to create lasting connections within the community.
Tragically, Todd's life was cut short, and he passed away before witnessing the full potential of his food drive idea. To honor his memory and the indelible mark he left on Custom Remodelers, the company decided to rename the food drive in his honor. The "Todd Beggs Memorial Food Drive" was born, a testament to his enduring legacy and commitment to making a positive impact on the world.
Over the past decade, the Todd Beggs Memorial Food Drive has flourished, with Custom Remodelers and its loyal customers joining forces to combat hunger in the community. Thousands of meals have been donated to
The Food Group, formerly known as the Emergency Food Network, all in Todd's name. His spirit lives on, inspiring not only the company's employees but also the entire community to come together and create meaningful change for those in need. Todd Beggs' vision continues to light the way toward a brighter, more compassionate future for all.
